General approach

While no doubt you are all fascinating people with many wonderful qualities we have no desire to learn about any of them. We therefore store only the minimal possible amount of data that can provide you with a high quality service and us with the minimum necessary details to provide that service.

Your data

The Press Play and Go system – comprising the iOS app, the Mac & Windows utilities, and the server components – will store your data under your account details.  No other user of any parts of the system will be able to see what data you have unless you explicitly grant permission for them to see it.  Even then it will only be the specific bits of data you do specify.

The providers of Press Play and Go – X3 Pty Ltd (incorporated in Australia, ABN: 52 109 741 666) – hold that it is the right of every user to control who sees their own data in all aspects of life.  We therefore will not sell, share, or give away any customer data.  We realise that in exceptional situations the local legal system could request parts of user data by serving a warrant.  Given the type of data we store we do not expect this possibility to ever occur but it’s probably necessary to say that just to cover ourselves.

Location data

The mobile app may request your location in order to determine which places of exercise are nearby. This location is only stored on your mobile device.  We never keep a history of this location data generated by your phone.  The app will always work without you needing to provide your location.

The location of where you teach classes will be stored only if you permit it. This will only be used to generate reports concerning your data and only available to you.

Encryption

All data is stored using the system-level encryption of the platforms.  The details of those can be found for Apple, Microsoft, and RevenueCat.

All password information at our server is stored salted and hashed to provide a high level of data security.

How long we retain your data

Your data is only stored on our servers if you have created an account and signed in. Your data remains stored there until you delete your account. At that point your data will immediately be marked as no longer in use. After 28 days it will be completely deleted. This time period is for the situations where the account owner may have unknowingly had their account deleted.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have generated while using the system. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
